Matias is a Peruvian photographer and videographer living between Barcelona and NYC. Matias has also resided and photographed in Perú, Chile, and Italy. He holds a BA in Media Studies and an MA in Cultural Management. Photography, for him, has the most special quality of any art form: stopping time. Drawn mainly to the everyday occurrences of street life through film photography, Matias uses photography to display magic in the ordinary, newness in the mundane, and to document the times.
